Extend existing STAAD.Pro to ADINA interop to export cross-section dimensions
Extend existing STAAD.Pro to ADINA interop to export cross-section dimensions in addition to the existing "General" cross-section type so that nonlinear elastic-plastic material can readily be applied to beeam elements.

Capability in viewing steel design detail output as you could previously! V23
Evidently when performing steel design to Euro code (perhaps the same for other codes) you can only now see utilisation ratios. You no longer have the capability of seeing the detailed design results to check if your effective length or steel grad...

Assigning DJ1 / DJ2 to a model to define start/end of members must improve
To be forced to go assign both a node # and every member between 2 nodes for a few beams is not a big deal but when it's a giant model, it takes days to assign these values for deflection checks.
Something must be done to make this more user frien...

Add the ASME-STS-1 2021 file as an option for the results of the analysis. There are only four equations from ASME, then everything defaults to AISC 2016, so most of the work is done.

Show design ratio for concrete members as is shown for steel members
When designing concrete members in Staad.Pro, detailed design information can be seen in batch mode using TRACK command. One useful detail is the design ratio Pu/Pn. If that value can be shown the same way is shown for steel design it can speed up...

Add SPAN command similar to SACS instead of DJ1 and DJ2
It is painful task to add DJ1 and DJ2 for deflection check in design paramter. Instead create SPAN command , which allows to add a set of members in a SPAN command to calculation local y and z deflection and actual DFF against allowable DFF. This ...
