In foundation design, not only the footing but also the pedestal design is critical.
However, STAAD Foundation currently does not support anchorage design in accordance with ACI 318 Chapter 17. As a result, the pedestal generated within the software does not reflect the final dimensions required for proper anchorage.
This creates an additional burden, as engineers must perform the anchorage design using a separate program (such as RAM Connection) and then manually update the pedestal dimensions back into STAAD Foundation.

Therefore, we request the addition of anchorage design capabilities within STAAD Foundation.
