The North European Enclosure Dam (NEED) is just one of those staggering mega projects that those crazy europeans might actually try. The stakes seem high enough. Maybe the Chinese Belt and Road programme makes more sense now. A lot of the ports within the enclosure would have to relocate. Still, not as mind boggling as fusion or EGT.

Maybe the sea wall would be a giant parallel parking zone for shipping and the UK will get a two massive causeways linking them to the EU? Hmmm... what about the Mediterranean? Easy peasy in comparison.

I wonder what kind of analysis apps would be required for this massive sea wall ? FEA for dams? Dutch-led?
