As of now, to determine stability of raft foundation in RCDC FE, more repetative work and manual efforts needed. Which is tedious and time consuming. So it is necessary to implement automatic optios in just few clicks.
While designing raft foundation in RCDC FE, RCDC FE should be showing stability of RAFT FOUNDATION again all conditions in tabular format for each load case, like
STABILITY AGAINST SAFE BEARING CAPACITY
STABILITY AGAINST SLIDING
STABILITY AGAINST OVERTURNING
STABILITY AGAINST UPLIFT OR FLOATATION etc...
Sir, in RCDC FE, the first and foremost thing in foundation design to check stability analysis of foundation against overturning, sliding, floatation, % of non contact area of foundation with soil etc., then check for crackwidth, and finally going towards reinforcement design,
But in RCDC FE only checks punching shear and then directly design the reinforcement, it isn't check stability and crackwidth and non contact area, my suggestion is to kindly add that features too for complete procedure... Thanks
