Add latest US Aluminum Design Code

STAAD.Pro has offered aluminum design and ASD code checking for many years based on the 1994 Aluminum Design Manual. Since that publication was issued 26 years ago, there have been five subsequent versions released in 2000, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020. Clearly the 1994 code check offered in STAAD is very obsolete. It doesn't offer an LRFD methodology to match other current codes. I suggest that the aluminum design and code checking functions be updated per the latest Aluminum Design Manual, and that the LRFD approach be offered in addition to ASD as it is with steel design.

Not supporting the latest American aluminum standard, let alone a recent standard will be the end of our subscription. I hope this becomes a priority.

Using aluminum design capability as a sales feature, but not providing the code check to any recent version of the ADM seems rather misleading.

I understand monitoring "the demand." However calling it is capable of aluminum design without mentioning 1994 code can appears disingenuous to some as this code has been updated so many times as others pointed out: Staad.Pro Brochure

Many users are coming across aluminum structures / framing that will need to be designed. I'm not aware of any place that currently still uses the 1994 code...

Thank you for your suggestion. This is in our backlog and continually monitored for demand.
