Thank you for posting this idea. I think it needs a little more detail though. What are you suggesting as the purpose of having gridlines? There is already a tool provided where grids can be added to the model as snap points. They can be regular, irregular, radial or even imported from a suitable DXF file. Is your ask that these be used to create the AutoDrafter grids or something else?
