Currently in staad foundation max/min bearing pressure is shown only for the compression cases.Incase the minimum pressure is governed in uplift case the same is not shown in the summary table.Same can be updated in upcoming revisions. Also the bearing pressure for all the service cases shall be displayed in the calculation sheet. Now only strength case pressure is shown in calcs.

For the Set Dimension type of design, STAAD Foundation does not allow a footing to be in uplift, meaning, if the net vertical load (column force + selfweight + soil load) on the footing is acting upward, the footing is considered to have failed.

For the Calculate Dimension type of design, the program ensures that the footing is at least large enough that the column force is counteracted by the selfweight and soil weight. Thus, the net vertical force on the footing will be downward.

Regarding your suggestion for reporting the bearing pressure for service cases, it is included in our backlog and you will be notified when it is released.

Thank you for posting your idea. It should be logged as an idea for STAAD concrete so I am moving it to that portal and let the team there review it.
