    Thank you for posting your idea. The intention has been that the Basic diagram is just that. If you do want to customise the colouring, then select the Detailed option and you can set boundaries and colours,

    green blue and red are ideal colours but why have those ratios and why not allow them to be change as in the previous version of staadpro
