Implement unity check of capacity for aluminum members according EN 1999-1-1
It should work similarly to code checking steel members according to EN 1993-1-1. It would benefit everyone designing aluminum structures due to highly corrosive environments and/or weight restrictions.
Thank you for posting this idea. Several engineers have suggesting adding different aluminium design codes to STAAD.Pro. Perhaps you might want to provide mode details on the type of profiles that you think could be supported and how you would consider non standard shaped profiles?
