STAAD does not consider the additional width of the fireproofed members; producing underestimated wind generated loads for open structures like piperacks. Please include this feature as this would make several of my colleagues happy.
Dear Benteley, It would be a very useful and essential feature. If Program allows to define thickness of fire proofing and works out vertical loads, same need to be extended for other loads to avoid any inadvertent miss. Else teh user have to explicityly define teh Delta fire proofing wind pressure while using 'Open wind command'.. There is high chances of missing it while using open wind command.
