Thank you for logging this idea. Perhaps a better suggestion would be that it is made possible to provide Connection Design using the RAM Connection application for any chosen axis system. On that basis, a more effective solution would be for RAM Connection itself support the interop using iTwin Services. That aligns a model from STAAD.Pro such that verticality is determined irrespective of the value of the SET parameter in STAAD.Pro. This is then a proposal for the RAM Connection development team to consider.
