I am suggesting STAAD to implement new features for users, which will make the users use a short time in steel design.
1. As we know, sometimes we may have a secondary beam where this beam will create a node in the primary beam. Now, to make the software recognize the secondary beam and ignore the node created by it, we should be able to notify the software to treat the secondary beam as a secondary beam and ignore its node, which has split the primary beam.
This can be done by highlighting the secondary beam and putting the option to treat this as a secondary beam, like how we are forming the physical member option.
2. If the primary beam is split into segments, we can use the advantage of the forming physical member option to notify the software that these segments are supported between two supports. Now the software will be able to find the parameters like UNL, LY, LZ, KY, and KZ.
