Direct Interoperability and Intelligent Mapping:
Integrate STAAD Pro, STAAD Foundation, Revit, and Advance Steel with native plugins or features for one-click model transfers.
Implement an automatic and precise mapping system for materials and sections between platforms, ensuring consistency.
Bidirectional Workflow and Validation:
Enable bidirectional model synchronization to reflect real-time changes across programs.
Incorporate validation tools to verify data integrity during transfers and generate detailed reports.
Shared and Customizable Database:
Create a shared database of materials and sections or an intelligent mapping system.
Allow user customization of this database.
Thank you for posting this idea. Yes, we consider interop with other systems as a significant development opportunity for STAAD. However I will say that we already have implemented an interop service that is central to a lot of Bentley software. initially this was named as ISM and included around an analytical model, which still exists. However it became apparent that a truly effective interop needs to be built around the physical model. Therefore you will have seen that in the Physical Model workflow we include iTwin Services that results in models that can be cosnumed by or from Revit (by using the Revit ISM plugin).
