In most of the industrial sheds, double I section spaced apart is used as crane column and single I section is used to support the roof above. In present STAADpro ver 24 facility to design double I section as per IS800 LSD is not available . This must be provided.

Columns can be made of double I section or double channel section with lacing or battening.
