As of now, STAAD. Pro supports the older version of IS 802, specifically IS 802:1995, for the design of steel structures such as gantry structures and equipment support structures

The updated version, IS 802:2023, which includes revised load factors, updated material strengths, and modern design considerations, is not yet integrated into STAAD. Pro design code library.

IS 802:2023 PART 4 includes updated design loads, wind load considerations, that are more aligned with current engineering practices.

Using the older code in STAAD. Pro may lead to conservative designs, especially for critical infrastructure like gantries and equipment support structures with techno commercial viability.
