We can easily walktrough the structure on axis and elevations with this tool. If you have a lot of details on different elevations with two clicks we can change the elevation in model. The Physical modeler and Analytical Modeler are not integrated with the Grid Manager of Steel AutoDrafter. Instead we need to Generate a View only on Analytical Modeling (this is not implemented in Physical Modeler) using Cutting Sections command, and this view does not update as we add elements.
I am glad to hear that you found this very good. My question though is for what purpose? Your idea is to have a gird that has what characteristics and what benefits should it offer? There is already a couple of grid tools (one in the Analytical Workflow and another in the Physical Workflow) that can be used to define parts of a model. What are you specifically looking for that these tools do not provide?
Hi Carlos,
This is a great feature on SAP2000.
