Previously, STAAD provided detailed bug reports through the following link:
https://bentleysystems.service-now.com/community?id=kb_article_view&sys_kb_id=453e131c47b7ea507798d4fe536d43e8.
However, currently, STAAD only shows a one-line description of the bug, which does not provide enough information to understand the nature of the issue.
Kindly update the portal accordingly so that users can clearly identify the issue and take necessary precautions.
Before the integration with the ServiceNow portal, STAAD used to provide reports that indicated whether any workaround was available for a bug, along with information on potential risks and clear visibility into the status of that particular issue. These reports made it easy for users to understand what was happening with a specific bug in STAAD.
However, this feature has now been removed, and as a result, we are unable to track bugs easily.
Thank you for posting this idea. I am not sure what link you are referring to, but I appreciate the nature of the request. Unlike many other providers, we do provide the list for users who can determine the areas where they should review to see if that impacts their models and if necessary, place a SR. We do provide a more comprehensive QA&R program for accounts who typically work on safety critical projects. With this program, monthly reports are provided with more details for high and critical severity issues. Perhaps that is something your administrator would want to subscribe to.
