Plate Stress Results Aligned to a Consistent Coordinate System

When designing concrete or masonry walls and slabs the rebar typically runs in two orthogonal directions. Because of this we are typically interested in stress results resolved to the slab or wall's local coordinate system. STAAD's analytical modeler allows us to orient SOME stress results to the global coordinate system, which is helpful. It would be more helpful to be able to orient ALL stress results to the global coordinate system. It would be even more helpful to orient the results to the wall or slab's local coordinate system. Results oriented to individual plate local coordinate systems are not useful unless all the axes are aligned for all the plates.

    Thank you for posting this idea. The ability of defining a coordinated set of results makes sense when associated with a defined surface. That is the planed solution around providing analysis results for physical surfaces and as such is in our backlog.
