At present in RCDC beam reinforcement table in coming for reinforcement provided. It is becoming vary tedious task to see the actual reinforcement required at each location to compare the difference B/W actual reinforming required vs provided.
So we required a table in which it should show the reinforcement required in table format and person can select the option for working if he wants to go with required area table or provided bar table.
This enhances design transparency, enables quick identification of unsafe or over-reinforced members, improves economy, and strengthens quality control and documentation for approval and construction stages
Yes, actual reinforcement must be known to engineer in order to check before providing reinforcement to particular beam as over provison of reinforcement may lead to sudden failure of concrete in compression before steel yields. Also it will not satisfy criteria of minimum spacing between reinforcement.
