I would like to suggest a significant improvement to the software. Currently, marking each connection one by one in engineering drawings is time-consuming and prone to errors. It would be extremely useful to link the connections generated in Connection Designer with Steel AutoDrafter. If Steel AutoDrafter could automatically display the applied connections at the nodes, this would optimize the process and save a considerable amount of time.
This functionality would enhance the efficiency and accuracy of engineers' work, allowing them to focus on other critical aspects of structural design.
Thank you for posting this idea. I think there is a lot of merit to it, but would like to have more details from you as to how you might expect to see this reflected in Steel AutoDrafter? Are you thinking that there would be an option to add a label on the drawing that refers to the id of the connection created? Would that be say a number in a box which would corollate to the connection number in the Connection Report? Or did you have something else in mind?
