Nowadays, PEB (Pre‑Engineered Building) structures are quite popular, and they are often modeled using tapered sections in STAAD. Tekla is widely used for detailing steel structures. For conventional structures without tapered beams, Tekla handles the STAAD import smoothly.
However, when tapered sections are present in the STAAD model, the taper information is not reflected in Tekla, which results in additional manual modeling effort. This becomes time‑consuming and reduces efficiency.
Therefore, I request the team to enhance the program so that tapered sections can be transferred correctly—either through ISM integration or by any other reliable method—so that the workflow functions smoothly.
